Characteristics

In the 1960s and 1970s, the so-called “silk jersey” — still called that even though it is made from a less noble fabric — is also worn as a “rest” jersey, typically used in summer before and after races.

The silk jersey had a few essential features: it showed no particular graphics (it was a single color to avoid extra seams), and when lettering was present, it was limited to the team’s name, printed in small characters on the left side of the chest, over the heart. Our version stays true to the original design, and we have chosen light blue and amaranth as the most representative colors.
